There is no right time to seek therapy. It is worth exploring if you think therapy can help you.
You might think that your problem is trivial, but it may be worth talking about it if it is not going away. Or perhaps it seems like there isn’t really a problem you can name and yet there is something that feels off. Other times, a problem can seem so overwhelming that it feels daunting to take the first step. Feel assured that therapy should follow a pace that is comfortable for you.
At the same time, I don’t believe that everyone should need therapy. There are many ways to help your mental health beyond talk therapy. If you read something on my website that helped you, great!

We would then set up a 10-15 minutes call to better understand further about why you are seeking services. It will be a chance for me to explain how the therapy process might look like for you and whether that would work for your needs.
We would then set up an appointment cadence that works with your schedule and needs.
Presently, I only provide therapy services online conducted over zoom.
Roughly speaking,
Initial appointments is about gathering information about your circumstances; the issue at hand, social support, relevant histories.
As we identify specific areas to be addressed. Therapy sessions will become more centered around 1 or 2 areas to allow for a more deeper examination and exploration.
At which time, we may employ specific interventions for skill development or regulation.
Insurance
For Individual Therapy and Group Therapy. I am in-network with:
Aetna, United HealthCare, Oxford Health Plans, Oscar, UMR, UHC Student Services
Out of pocket:
The rate for Individual Therapy is $220 for hour appointments and $60 for group sessions.
The rate for Couples Therapy is $250 for hour appointments. Presently I do not accept insurance for Couples Therapy.

I kindly ask that all cancellations or rescheduling be communicated 24 hours in advance. If you do not cancel your appointment at least 24 hours ahead of time or do not show. you will be charged for the appointment.
It is recommended that new patients are scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to establish a momentum. Sessions can be tapered to 1x monthly towards the end, after you feel more comfortable about your situation.
The length of therapy depends on your needs and what you are coming to therapy for. E.g. it might be as long as you need support during a tumultuous time, shorter maybe if your goals are well defined, longer perhaps if they are less clear.
Should you feel therapy is not working or you would prefer to work with someone else, you reserve the right to discontinue therapy at any point.
